Raising awareness of European rights and their violations among the population of the Southern Great Plain

"Szegeder's editors present the complexity and vulnerability of certain human rights through a series of in-depth, thoughtful articles. The initiative aims at making it easier for the public to understand complex legal circumstances, becoming aware of their own and others' human rights and recognise their violation through easy-to-understand stories.

The articles are primarily aimed at the readers of the newspaper and its media partners, the residents of Szeged and Csongrád-Csanád county (South-Hungary)- and more broadly the population of Hungary.

In the course of the initiative, the editorial team conducts research, identifies issues and initiatives, and publishes them through large-format articles and related media content (photos, videos). The articles will be used to produce educational materials that can be used in the long term, and the media content will be used to create a travelling exhibition."
