The aim is to support young Roma people living in rural areas, whose rights are being violated due to the discriminatory and abusive operation of institutions of education and training. The complex programme provides both information and methods for young people, their teachers and parents, which not only raises awareness of the problem but also encourages all three target groups to play an active role. The parallel sessions allow for a convergence of values, a greater openness to each other's problems and a calm and prepared approach to problems and conflicts involving rights violations. In this way, parents, young people and disadvantaged Roma families are strengthened, and the professionalism and personality of teachers are developed, so that they can deal with these challenges more easily and effectively, giving them support and reinforcement in their work. The project's activities will contribute to raising the legal awareness of Roma youth, their parents and the teachers who educate them; to be confident and prepared - to prevent violations of rights, to deal with conflicts in an appropriate way, to be able to choose between several solutions based on adequate information, acceptance and cooperation. The activities to be carried out include internal technical work and the preparation of a methodology, using psychodrama and storytelling for 3 target groups; testing the methodology with the 3 target groups (disadvantaged Roma young people - mainly girls, their teachers and their parents); finalisation and transfer of the methodology to teachers (4 workshops to train practising teachers (3 sessions), training of pedagogy students, transfer of methodology (1 session). By the end of the project, the institutions and the professionals who work with Roma youth will be able to apply the experience learned during the process, gaining knowledge and tools to solve the current problem.
