"You Are Not Alone" Program - Child Protection Collaboration and Trauma-Informed Support for Disadvantaged Children

The initiative aimed to improve local child protection coordination in Pécs in the short term. An important part of this coordination was the practical application of a trauma-informed approach among institutions in the reporting system, as well as the development of a joint action strategy. In connection with this, training sessions, panel discussions, and campaigns were held, and an educational methodology and an action plan were developed. As a result of the project, the operation of the reporting system and response protocols improved at the city level, and efforts to raise awareness were launched among child protection workers and staff at the city’s social, health, and victim protection agencies.
