Education workers also have the right to collective bargaining, to take action to protect their interests, and to work in conditions that respect their health, safety, and dignity. The stronger and larger the union becomes, the more effectively it can act to ensure these rights are upheld. Information, training, and communication activities were carried out to inform and mobilize education workers. The employees involved became more aware of their rights, and many of them became active members of the union.
