The three main pillars of the program were the film club, the board game club, and an exciting debate day.
In the film club, students could watch thought-provoking movies together and then discuss them. The selected works touched upon topics such as social justice or mental health. The shared cinematic experience not only made them think, but also developed their critical thinking and debate skills.
The board game club was a space for creativity and teamwork. Through board games, strategic challenges, and cooperative games, participants could develop their problem-solving and communication skills in a playful way. Friendly competition and a sense of community were guaranteed here.
The highlight of the program was the debate day, where young people could meet political decision-makers. Here, they had the opportunity to share their opinions and participate in discussions about education, sustainability, or equal opportunities. The debate day not only addressed them, but actively involved them in the decision-making process, thereby strengthening democratic values.
These three activities offered an exciting, skill-building, and community-building experience that could have a long-term inspiring impact on the youth and their environment.
