Creative, Contemporary Communities in the E-tanoda for Social Responsibility

The goal of the project was to develop legal awareness and self-advocacy among disadvantaged youth, as well as to strengthen the social responsibility of the mentors involved in the E-tanoda. The program was created as an expansion of E-tanoda's activities and supported the promotion of social equality and inclusion while developing pedagogical tools and implementing events. The target groups were the disadvantaged mentored youth within the E-tanoda, high school and university mentors, and external educators and partner institutions who directly applied the project results.
During the project, a tabletop game, a teacher's guide, and online curriculum were also created, which helped develop legal awareness and self-advocacy in an experiential way. The main event, a Hackathon, enabled the acquisition of game development skills while participants learned about fundamental rights. For the mentors, trainings, interactive workshops, and situational exercises strengthened social responsibility and problem-solving skills.
The project was implemented in close cooperation with partner schools, tanodas (after-school centers), and NGOs, which integrated the program's results and methods into their own activities. The completed tools became accessible to other organizations as well. The new and strengthened partnerships, along with the capacity-building built into the project, ensured the project's sustainability and opened up further development opportunities.
