Our aim was to support disadvantaged women's groups, increase solidarity between women's movements, and involve new actors and causes into the women's rights sphere. The project highlighted the visibility of groups working on the periphery and strengthened their activity.
The target groups of the project were rural Roma women's communities, women caring for children with disabilities at home, and young, middle-generation feminist urban communities. The project focused heavily on disadvantaged women working on the periphery, providing them with opportunities for networking and knowledge-sharing.
During the project, we organised regional networking meetings, online workshops, a community campaign, and an interactive closing event, involving feminist artists and cultural organisers. Our goal was to share knowledge, develop campaign skills, and promote feminist values. The participatory methods used enabled active community participation.
The Hungarian Women's Fund cooperated with local, regional, and international women's organisations in the project. The results contributed to the strengthening of Hungarian feminist communities and established sustainable cooperations for social equality and the protection of women's rights in Hungary.
