Power on 2.0

The Power on 2.0 initiative aims to strengthen the network created by the Civil Radio, which is made up of active civil communities in a Hungarian municipality, groups that aim to restore local democratic and more balanced relations, and as a means to this end, work on the strengthening of the local public sphere. The network is made up of 15-18 organisations, whose capacity is being developed, mainly through communication tools to increase the effectiveness of their work.
The members are mainly rural organisations and communities that want to actively promote a broader public awareness of local issues - they want local people to be aware of their local issues and to be involved in their resolution.
The initiative supports its members through practical training and mentoring to strengthen the content of their public platforms - to enable them to raise local issues in the local public discourse and to communicate to residents through these platforms the basic human and shared values of the European Union.
