Social sensitisation to reduce prejudice against people with borderline personality disorder

CERV-FK02-2024-0826
Hungarian Mentalization Association
Baranya megye

The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness of borderline personality disorder (BPD) and reduce the stigma associated with it. Off-line and on-line awareness-raising and educational materials (podcasts, videos, leaflets, website sub-pages, presentations, workshops) will be produced to help reduce stigma and prejudice associated with mental illness. The initiative will create a dialogue between patients with a diagnosis and their environment, lay people and professionals. In the long term, the resulting awareness-raising materials will contribute to a wider dissemination of credible information about this vulnerable group of people with BPD and to the promotion of equality.
